Roof Condition Survey was instructed to establish the overall condition prior the client’s architects finalising their warrant proposals. It was decided a drone survey would be the best and most cost-effective option to get an overall view of the roof and components due to the size and complexity of details.
Initially it had been assumed, due to the age of the building and the lack of occupancy for a number of years that the condition would have been poor. Fortunately, the drone survey established that in fact the overall condition was fairly good with only isolated repairs required to the slates and lead, resulting in the anticipated roof budget being allocated elsewhere.
